For Nike x Vice’s “Summer of White” campaign, we reimagined the Air Max 97 as more than a streetwear item, positioning it as a symbol of cultural pride and timelessness. Drawing on 90s nostalgia and the purity of white, we introduced “Satellite Culture,” a concept that connected the sneaker’s aesthetic with the traditional thobe, a symbol of heritage and esteem. Through minimalist visuals, we bridged past and present, celebrating the Air Max 97 as both a design icon and a cultural artifact.
